Day 1
Diani to Tsavo East National Park
At 06:00 AM, your professional driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel in Diani.
After a short safari briefing, begin the scenic drive inland along the Mombasa–Nairobi highway toward Tsavo East National Park.
The drive takes approximately 2 to 3 hours.
Arrive at Bachuma Gate around 10:00 AM and enter Tsavo East National Park for your first exciting game drive.
Your guide will open the pop-up roof of the safari minivan to provide the best wildlife viewing opportunities.
Between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM, enjoy game viewing across Tsavo’s open plains, famous for its large red-dust elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and antelope.
Arrive at Voi Safari Lodge for check-in and lunch.
After some relaxation, depart at 4:00 PM for an afternoon game drive exploring more of the park before returning to the lodge by 6:00 PM for dinner and overnight.
In the evening, relax at the viewing platform overlooking the waterhole where wildlife often gathers at night.

Begin the day with a 6:30 AM pre-breakfast game drive, one of the best times to spot predators and active wildlife during the cool morning hours.
Return to the lodge for breakfast at 8:30 AM before checking out at 9:30 AM with a final game drive as you exit Tsavo East.
Continue toward the nearby Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, a private conservancy known for scenic hills and quieter safari experiences.
Arrive at Taita Hills Safari Resort and Spa around 1:00 PM for lunch before transferring to the iconic Salt Lick Safari Lodge for check-in and relaxation.
At 4:00 PM, enjoy an afternoon game drive within the sanctuary where your guide will help you search for elephants, lions, buffaloes, and other wildlife.
Return to Salt Lick Safari Lodge by 6:00 PM for dinner and overnight.
The lodge’s elevated design offers incredible floodlit waterhole views directly from your room or observation deck.

Return to Salt Lick Safari Lodge for breakfast at 8:30 AM before checking out at 10:00 AM.
Enjoy a final game drive through the sanctuary as you exit before beginning the scenic drive back toward the Kenyan coast.
Arrive in Diani at approximately 4:00 PM where you will be dropped off at your beach hotel, marking the end of your memorable 3-day Kenya safari adventure.
